Vegan Hazelnut Chocolate Chips Cookies

Vegan and rich cookies: prepare a dough of hazelnut butter, chopped hazelnuts, and chocolate chips, form balls, bake for fifteen minutes, cool, and enjoy.

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees 347 F.
  2. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix sugar, vegan butter, hazelnut butter, and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt until you get a dough; if necessary, add 1-2 tablespoons of water gradually.
  5. Flatten the dough in the bowl, add chopped nuts and chocolate chips, and mix well.
  6. Using a cookie scoop, form small balls with a diameter of about 3 cm (1.1 Inches) and place them on the baking sheet at a distance of about five cm (2-Inches) from each other.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, just until the cookies are lightly golden.
  8. Remove from the oven, leave in the pan for about a minute, remove the cookies with a spatula, and place on a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Keep in a sealed box.

Notes

You can add the chopped nuts and chocolate chips with the butter and sugar, but they mix better when added to the prepared dough.
How to chop hazelnuts: place the nuts in a plastic bag, close the bag, and crush the nuts with a Kitchen hammer.
